The Final Regional Workshop was held last 21-22 November 2023 under the ADB-TA9608 Strengthening Knowledge and Actions for Air Quality Improvement. The event was co-organized by Clean Air Asia and consultants Ricardo-AEA Limited and supported by the Asian Development Bank. The workshop gathered representatives from 7 cities and municipalities (Erdenet, Ho Chi Minh, Peshawar, Faridpur, La Trinidad, Sialkot and Vinh Yen), experts and consultants.

The workshop aimed to:

To convene representatives from the TA cities and DMCs to present and discuss the Clean Air Action Plans;
To share stakeholder experiences on Clean Air Action Plan implementation, monitoring and evaluation, and leveraging partnerships to scale impacts;
To discuss approaches to financing of air quality actions in the context of Clean Air Action Plans, and its alignment with national-level strategies and policy frameworks; and
To discuss opportunities for ongoing support under the Asia Clean Blue Skies Program and other next steps to realize the actions in the Clean Air Action Plans.
